Cannot login in to redhat linux user account

 When I try to access redhat server from ubuntu 9.04 desktop machine through ssh, it is always asking root password only. Here I want to access one user account of redhat linux not root, But everytime When I try to access the redhat ,it prompt me only root password no username. How can I login in to the user account of redhat machine from ubuntu ? Hope you have got me

The SSH will run as your user which is noramal and will not affect the session. Redhat is not supported here. I suggest you contact the owner of the server to get the account details. If you want to connect as your user you can use:

ssh user@server

and your username will be used instead of root. Usually the account you logon with is used for the session so I hope to god you are not logging onto Ubuntu with root.
