Live CD stall in any video mode at boot

I would like to install on a abit AX8 box running via chipset 8237 and a Nvidia GeForce 6600 video card. I believe I need to install the drivers prior to startup can anyone tell me how to insert the drivers up front when the live cd is booting up

I don't think you need to install any drivers. My brother has that card, and the live cd just works. What kind of problems are you having?
