google chrome disappeared

i use ubuntu 10.04.when i installed google chrome on ubuntu linux it was working fine(.32 bit deb file)...but when i restarted my PC it got disappeared.now i cant find it...the linux system says that the program is already installed when i tried reinstalling ...how do i view the google chrome...i m unable to find it...and how do i staart using it...plz let me know as soon as possible..thnxxx

If it's already installed, the shortcut can be found at:

Internet->Chromium Web Browser

and is installed in this path:

usr/bin/chromium-browser

Or you can personally view the path by running the command below on the Terminal:

which which chromium-browser

hey but i have a doubt....can u tell me how to create short cut of google chrome OR how to put it in Application -->Internet-->Google Chrome(which is presently disappeared from thr.)...

Right click on the Desktop, select "Create Launcher":

Launcher Properties:

Type: Application
Name: Chromium Web Browser
Command: chromium-browser %U

Click on close. A new launcher will be created on your Desktop with the name "Chromium Web Browser".
