Uninstall wine

Asked by Sbn

I installed wine, and decided to reinstall it because I made some bad installs of other programs that wouldn't go away from the applications>wine menu after uninstalling them, so now I uninstalled wine from synaptic but the applications menu is still there (nonfunctional). Que faire?

Yes, I've noticed the same thing. I think it might be considered a bug in
wine. You can clean up your menu though. Right click the menu bar and choose
edit menus. From there you can uncheck the wine menu or any of the submenus
and they will no longer show up.
