what is the size of ubuntu 10.04

I have a broadband internet connection at home but the package allows only a download of 1GB per month. So I want to know the size of Ubuntu 10.04 since I have only left 400MBs for this month. Please help........

Ubuntu 10.04 cd is 700 MB large. You can order a free CD also, but you will have to wait couple of weeks to receive CD:

You will also need to upload updates of Ubuntu.
Simplest way in your cas is buying a magazine with Ubuntu's CD.

yup 700mb. but which country you are living?some place have retailers for ubuntu. downloading is not advisable unless you have an unlimited broadband, cause there are so many updates and software you need to install to get a perfect system
