When I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.4 I logged in then I put
the USB in and it found it that way.
Plus make sure you are getting signal.

I use usb wireless modem ZTE AC2726. It was installed automatically in win 7 when plugged. But in ubuntu 10.04 I plugged it but it's not being installed. I see the icon on the screen, it appears, than archive manager starts and informs about error reading setup.exe file. As for the signal, I don't think there's no signal - I use the modem on the same PC and in the same place as before when it worked on win7. what to do?
