Intall Ubuntu 10.04 stops at 78%

I did an install of 10.04 and each time it stops when the progress bar reaches 78%. HP Pavillion PC, 8454C. Was previously running version 9 ok.

Did you tried to download Ubuntu 10.04 and burn it again at slower speed?

Hi,

Just change the Ubuntu 10.04 cd/dvd and try.... then also its not working follow this.....

Installation time just use different partition and use different file system (eg. ext4 or ext4 journal ).

When you boot from the LiveCD, run a CD Integrity Test. If it doesn't pass, the CD should be burned again.
