Maybe Windows was deleted and Ubuntu took over? Sounds like you need to install 10.04 - a fresh copy of 10.04 would help. If you have a Windows XP disc, reinstall the computer by installing WIndows XP on about 1/2 of the hard drive and once this is complete, install UBuntu 10.04 on the other side.

Can you help with this problem?
