iam very much new to ubuntu, thanks for ur previous reply.
should i include a.out command in the directory before executing the command ??
your assumption is correct i hav compiled the program , for generation of an output file iam getting that error

You should continue posting your questions related to the issue in that thread for better refferal.

As I understand you are compiling your program using gcc or another compiler?

1. Does your compilation finished successfully or you have some errors?

2. If you execute ls command in the terminal do you see the a.out file?

3. if you execute ./a.out do you get same error?
