I started getting funny behavior, I said "hey don't do that" ,that didn't work so I restarted and now the panels are all missing and there is no ap's list ?

whats a fella gotta do to get a little cooperation around here ? is there anything i can run in my terminal to fix it ? i did download frostwire before it happened, i looked afterwards and it didnt make my list. I thought it installed okay but i never did ant follow up besides what i thout it said to do. Is it possible this ties in ?
