Blank screen on boot ubuntu 10.04 from cd

Hey .. I'm new on ubuntu .. when i went boot from CD to install or try live version , i got a blank screen (LCD turned off) and my laptop stopped working ...

I have vaio cw14fx
GeForce GT 230M
4GB DDR3 Ram
Core2Due 2.2

For First you must take a while becouse booting from CD takes more time.
If that does not work you should try another CD.

I got this CD from ubuntu shipit and it's run on win 7 well .. i install it from windows and installation worked well .. but when i went to boot and load ubuntu , i got this problem again
