Install Ubuntu

I have already installed 2 os. Windows XP & 7. I want to install Ubuntu also. So I received a cd(10.04) when i requested from you. Installation was completed. And the name Ubuntu is also showed in windows boot manager. But when I click on it boot manager displays a problem that it can't open Ubuntu. Please help me how to access ubuntu?

Did you install Ubuntu from within windows or did you resize partitions for a true multiboot?

I installed Ubuntu from within Windows but I didn't boot the Ubuntu CD

which version of windows did you use to install ubuntu, xp or 7, if it was 7 try reinstalling it from xp

I didn't install from 7. I use XP to istall.

I didn't install from 7. I used XP to install Ubuntu. And the installation was comleted. Then is displays a massage you must restart your computer. Windows boot manager displays the name of OS Ubuntu. But when I click on it boot manager displays a problem.
