Hello...

Not sure about the particular set of apps involved here, but the thing is Ubuntu has a software ethos where packages are dependant on other packages. So you may find removing some things will take others with it. The whole design really revolves having an Internet connection. You may get away with what you want, you may not. You might get rid of say Cups but the system will most probably drag in new packages to fill the dependencies. Dependencies is whats at play here.

When you simulate
e.g.
sudo apt-get purge -s cups

it would remove:
bluez-cups* cups* cups-driver-gutenprint* foo2zjs* foomatic-db* foomatic-db-engine*
  ghostscript-cups* hplip* hplip-cups* openprinting-ppds* pxljr* splix* ubuntu-desktop*

and for bluetooth
bluetooth* bluez-utils*

Nothing dramatic in my view, but you may reinstall ubuntu-desktop.
Before removing I'd deactivate printer and bluetooth in system preferences -> startup apps

Can you help with this problem?
