I need to reformat my desktop and reinstall Win7 and Ubuntu 10.04

My upgrade from ubuntu 9.10 to ubuntu 10.04 screwed up my desktop and now (after having tried different options with a service technician at Canonical) now I need to completely wipe out all information from my desktop and do a reinstall of windows 7 and ubuntu 10.04. Can anybody indicate me where I can find a clear step-by-step tutorial?

you do not need a tutorial !
first windows after linux, if you are in dual boot.
without the cd/dvd of windows you can try drivers and utilities - in oem it is working perfectly (fast).
if not, you have an option(s) with the windows cd install, recover.
if not, microsoft offered free w7 or update free from vista and xp.
