How to install a webcam

What is the exact webcam model?

use the Ubuntu software center to install 'cheese'. then open it from applications > sound and video > cheese

Installed cheese. But it does not recognise my zebtronics webcam

My webcam is Zebtronics ZEB-480WC.

It is not listed as compatible, but there are 2 Zebronics webcams there, so worth trying.
