Repoting bug against 'update manager'

I get following message on following some panel instructions:-
Please report the bug against the 'update manager' and include the following error message
" E: Malfunctioned line in 47 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list(dists)
   E: The list of sources could not be read.

This occurred after I had added the following lines from Trevinos repositories
deb http://download.tuxfamily.org/3v1leb/dists/feisty/eyecandy/source
deb-src http://download.tuxfamily.org/3v1leb/dists/feisty/eyecandy/source

I have since deleted these two lines.
Shall be grateful for guidance here.

I understand that, after erasing both lines, the update manager still gives you the error message.
Can you post your sources.list so we can check?

I have since installed ENVY and rebooted and the message re bug has disappeared.
The problem therefore seems solved.
