Partition Flag Bootable missing

Asked by David Stodolsky

I set up 4 identical drives with 2 RAID10 partitions. They are MBR partitioned with Boot and Swap in primaries and each RAID is in an extended partition. They are working fine, but I noticed that one of the drives is missing the Bootable Flag. I tried to set the Flag via the graphical interface, but after a while the operation times out and nothing has changed.

Since I set up each drive, by hand, the same way I don't see why this is happening.

Those flags are only for Microsoft Windows and/or DOS to boot. This is a feature you can ignore. If it bothers you, then you may want to create a bug report for this.

Can you help with this problem?
