How do I make my KDE apps use GNOME themes using the Qt 4 Settings App?

Asked by Allan Caeg

I installed the "Qt 4 Settings" app expecting that it would make my KDE apps look like my GNOME ones.

I am using Clearlooks on GNOME so it would be nice if my KDE apps use clearlooks too.

In Qt 4 Settings, I chose the theme "Cleanlooks" and applied the changes. I noticed that the Qt settings window used the "Cleanlooks" theme, but my KDE apps still use my Kubuntu theme.

How do I make the my KDE apps look like my GNOME apps?

Try installing kcontrol then open kcontrol up and then Click "Appearance" then "Style" and select Cleanlooks.
