Firmware for Yakumo DVB-T sticks is missing

Asked by Constantin Bergemann

I have a "Yakumo QuickStick DVB-T", a pen-sized DVB-T receiver. It works well under Linux, but you have to install a newer firmware file manually into "/lib/firmware/<kernel version/. The file is named "dvb-usb-wt220u-02.fw" and is availiable unter www.linuxtv.org, like all the other DVB-T firmware files.
It would be great if you could include the file in the next release of the corresponding package.

Direct LInk: http://www.linuxtv.org/downloads/firmware/dvb-usb-wt220u-02.fw

Thank You.
Constantin.

I have converted this to a bug report so that the kernel guys can get visibility of it.
