CDMA Conection with no full speed but only 256 kbps

Asked by José Barbosa

I have a CDMA Modem [ZAPP]. I just configured the modem. It works. The download speed is 256 kbps when should be 2.4 Mbps.
I have Ubuntu 6.06 LTS with kernel 2.6.16-25.
What should I do put the speed on 2.4 Mbps?

You need to use 'setserial' to set the port speed.

Also, your hardware needs to support 2.4Mbps, obviously.
