logitech moseware drivers for ubuntu

I would like to use my old 3 button Logitech Trackman Marble mouse with Linux software. I am using mouseware ver. 9.79.1 in XP
It is an old mouse and I can not seam to find the appropriate driver

What does not work on the mouse? The "mouseware" is a logitech app for windows and logitech refuse to support linux.

I did not know that Logitech did not support linux...This is my second day trying ubuntu. Thank you for your help.
