ubuntu support for i7-980x?

Hi. Does Ubuntu 10.04 support work with the i7-980x chip? And does it work with 32-bit? 64-bit? or both? Which is the best to use?

Yes, it does. It supports 32 and 64 bits, but 64 bits is the best. I run 64 bits since I had a AMD Semprom 2400.
