unable to bootup after upgrading ubuntu maverick to kernel 2.6.35

Asked by skabdulraheemneo

i had recently upgraded Ubuntu lucid to maverick alpha. After updating the kernel to 2.6.35 via update manager, Ti am unable to boot. It just throws me a blank screen after the grub. Though I am able to login using previous kernel version 2.6.34-5.

You know maverick is alpha. It is intended for testers. If you want stability, don't run alpha software.
