why ububtu still include mono based apps?..there ara a lot alternatives apps like shoutwell or gnote like fedora did in fedora 13...

mono based apps is memry kiiller...there are a lot of alternatives apps for mono based apps like:
tomboy > gnote;
fspot > shotwell;
it can give more space for ubuntu instalation cd and we can free from microsoft like programs based.

Shotwell is replacing F-Spot in Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick). I'm not sure about Tomboy, but with alternatives like gnote and . There is a strong anti-Mono sentiment in the community, so I wouldn't be surprised if it is phased out of the default install in the next few releases.
