Install disk does not get me past Install selection

Asked by Eric Schwelke

Created DVD with Ubuntu 10.04 ISO download from Ubuntu download page. Able to boot from DVD and initial install/setup screen pops up, allows me to select language, keyboard but when I select "Install Ubuntu" from list and hit "Enter", nothing is happening; in fact. none of the menu selections work. Already verified MD5Sum of downloaded ISO file, and it matches same from release page. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Tralfamadore

Thanks, Richard. Please bear with me because I am new to Ubuntu and its installation. How exactly do I use the term "sudo apt-get remove dmraid"?
