How do I add files to the /usr/lib Directory?

Asked by Daniel Roosa

I downloaded some certificates so I could use Citrix on my computer and I need to put them into this directory:
/usr/lib/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts/
But It wont let me copy or save anything into that folder, I have administrative privileges but still I can't do anything with any thing in the /usr/lib area, could someone tell me why?

Open a terminal and type in "gksu nautilus /usr/lib/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts/" without the quotes.

Or just try gksu nautilus
This is because ubuntu disables the root account by default. See this http://www.debianadmin.com/enable-and-disable-ubuntu-root-password.html

Thank you, I was able to move them to the folder but I'm still not able to use Citrix, I'll have a look elsewhere.

Can you help with this problem?
