Unable to update distribution
Since 9.10 was available, I've been unable to upgrade to the next distribution. Today I actually took the time to copy down and make note of the error given.
The pop-up error is this:
Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade:
E:Error, pkgProblemResol
This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu
If none of this applies, then please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist- upgrade/ in the bug report.
Speaking of held packages, I haven't updated xserver-org since 8.10. When I first upgraded to 9.04 I suffered from the driver issues since I had an old ATI card and so I followed directions to fix this (http://
I'm just not sure how to undo what was done in the tutorial.
