Why the up and down keys does not work with swiftfox

it does not with chrome nor firefox. i am using ubuntu 10.04 LTS

have you tried edit - preference general tab to see if you can set it that way ?

Well Greg, I don't see anything in preferences that can be related to edit my keyboard.

What do you expect the keys to do normally?

Well, I would expect for my window to go up and down while pressing these keys. When i press them, nothing happens.

If you log in as a different user does it do the same, if not then log a bug.

go to key board setting -mouse keys - click enable pointer can be controlled by key pad .
i enabled it on mine i can scroll up and down this page with arrows .
