please i just bought a new laptop and i have ubuntu 7.04 installed but cannot get all my device drivers. my laptop is a lenovo 3000 N100.

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo sh -c 'echo options snd-hda-intel model=lenovo >>/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base'

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

Reboot your pc and try.
