Dapper server installation fails everytime

I have downloaded Dapper Server iso from the download site more than 4 different times and properly created the cds. The CD boots fine and starts to install. But the installation fails everytime it reaches the stage of INSTALLING BASE SYSTEM - "retrieving libc6........
file:///cdrom/pool/main/g/glibc/libc6.2..36-Oubuntu2_i386.deb was corrupt".

Next the package gnupg also fails.
When i skip the few failing packages it continues but in the end the intallation fails.

I am ondering whether the iso image in Ubuntu site is corrupt or something, as i have gotten the errors with more than four different downloads.

Sounds like a dodgy burn... Have you tried burning more slowly? Perhaps try cleaning the CD-ROM drive?

Thanks Grant. I sorted the problem. I simply changed the CD i was recording to :) ! I had been erasing the re-writable that i was using and writing another iso on it. So all the time it had been the disk that i was using that was faulty !
