CLAM UPDATES/UPGRADES

Why aren't CLAMAV and CLAMTK updates and/or upgrades linked together. It seems that getting three green checks alongside the CLAM engine, GUI and definitions takes a lot more work than should be necessary. I'm using the SPM to install CLAMAV and TK but getting everything current is a pain. Any ideas ?????

yes ! here is what you need to do ,open clamav click help ,then click about ,when the window pops up click the link it will take you to clam home page .there select download will take you to source forge download , download to downloads file . at places go to down load file open then open downloaded file with get it .it will update both at once [[ gui and signature ]] . close out everything restart then check .should fix every thing .
