Installig Modem

MY os is Ubuntu 9.10 !!My modem use gs7470 chip. So I download Eciadsl driver & Install it. Then I made my own synch.bin file for my modem, because their synch.bin fills won't work with my modem!! (I used Usbsniffer to create my synch.bin) After all don..... I gave the command "sudo eciadsl-start" Then Igot this error!!! Then I type "ifconfig" But I unable to connect to the internet!!! Here is my error message!

But It not gave the right answer!!! & also that person can't get the Synchronization... But I'm got it!! I think I am in a middle of my problem SO help me to solve the problem!!!! HELP ME.................!!!!!

That deb is the driver for my modem!! But the problem is the final step!!

It means my other steps also correct!!!. But if isn't I think I can't get through the step 4 & step 3

SO HELP me to get through the step 5!!!

jaye@jaye-desktop:~$ ifconfig

Dont type ifconfig. you must type sudo if config

then you got the tap0 interface!!

then type sudo pppoeconf tap0.

then it will scan some stuff and press enter for all those stuff enter you username and password when asked.after you are done
connect by typing sudo pppoe-start
