brothers printers

i have a brothers mfc440cn and a mfc495cn data transfer to printer but will not stat to print. the system shows all printer as host and connected. help

I assume a 32bit OS. The brother site does not have an MFC495CN but does have MFC-495CW. Are you sure it's not an MFC-495CW?

some Brother printers will not print if any of the cartridged is empty. Check the Ink status of each cartridge
