Thinkpad W500 - heating problem
Asked by

First thanks, for all the people involved in brining in UBUNTU. I had contemplated long enough to switch my
primary computer to UBUNTU and after release of 10.04 couldn't hold myself, I even convinced my wife
that it would be much better than windows 7. But I am facing this heat problem, seen only when battery is fully charged
and still on AC power. I have searched google, for possible solutions like CPU scaling and ACPI and so on and still not able to find a my way in reducing heat. Any help appreciated and would file a bug if required be.
System Details.
