It's Lucid Lynx, not Lynk

Maybe the kernel in Lucid is causing issues and needs extra boot options. If karmic works then install karmic and upgrade to Lucid using the web or alternate install cd.

I have found something very intresting .1. I tested the Lucid lynk with 4 deferent computers that belong to member of the Ubuntu kootenay group and I was using deferent cd company with the iso cd image on all 4 computers.

2. The beta version of Lucid Lynk was working on all of them .

 3. The cd new release of of Ubuntu Lucid Lynk repotred a boot error on all 4 computers. each computers add deferent optic drive.

4.Today I try one of the 4 computers with the DvD version of Lucid Lynk and there was no error it woked fine .

this is purely cd rom drive problem i had same problem on my freinds pc where cd rom didnt work properly.please try installing with cd as it is less prone to errors.
