Am running xfce and think the disk is gnome?? It seems to have a lot of extra stuff on it that liked look of it. How can I change mine to look like that. Can I run disk and upgrade from it or is that same thing I did from upgrade manager?? I seemed to have lost some stuff had but maybe got few more, seem to have more screensavers but when click on says not installed. Am I back to where I was. If you are running XFCE and want to upgrade, you should be using Xubuntu alternate Cd and not Ubuntu. At most you can do a fresh install of Ubuntu with Gnome using the Cd that you have.
