Ownership for /dev/cdrom and /dev/cdrw

Asked by Uqbar

In Lucid I see that /dev/cdrom and /dev/cdrw are root:root instead of root:disk.
is this right?

/dev/cdrom and /dev/cdrw are only symbolic links pointing to the real device, for example /dev/sr0.
/dev/sr? should be owned by root:cdrom.
