I cannot search videos on youtube through Movie Player

I have installed Ubuntu 10.4 recently. I cannot search and play videos from you tube on Movie Player . When I search videos on you tube, I get the message, "The response from the server could not be understood. Please ensure you have installed the latest version of libgdata." Please help
