10.04 Improving Monitor Fonts Presentation

I want to improve the screen presentation of texts in UBUNTU 10.04.
I use two core fonts:
A. Arial Normal and Italic
B. Calibri Normal and Italic
My codepage 1251 for English and Russian
What can I do? Thanks ahead - Chufar

You can change how Ubuntu renders fonts in the Appearance Preferences. In the main Ubuntu menu, go to System > Preferences > Appearance, then click on the Fonts tab. At the bottom you have some basic options; clicking the Details... button will give you some more advanced options for font rendering to try.
