upgrade to 10.04

Just found out 10.04 is available. I have 9.04, so do I have upgrade first too 9.10, or could I just download it from the CD just like that.

If you want to do an online upgrade (which will preserve your configuration), you have to upgrade firstly to 9.10.
A direct upgrade from 9.04 should be too complex to design.

If you start from CD, except if you have /home in a dedicated partition, you will loose your data.
So you have first to backup /home on an extenal hard drive.
