Help getting 10.04 to recognize dvd in drive

Neither 9.10 or 10.04 recognize all of my dvd movie or media. I inserted a movie in 9.10 and 10.04 that was recognized in Vista but is not recognized by either of the above-mentioned distros of Ubuntu.

Suggestions?

Try these two commands in the terminal:

sudo apt-get install libdvdread4

sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh
