gDesklets wont start

I upgraded from Ubuntu 9.10 to 10.04 LTS since then I can not get gDesklets to run.
Every time I start gDesklets the cursor spins for about 30 seconds then nothing.

What can I do ?

I've got the same. When i start gdesklets in the terminal its says : "Could not import tiling module!" It tries to connect with deamen for about 30 secs. and then stops. Don't know what to do more.

It's not working for me either. In a terminal, type "gdesklets" and see if you get the error: "Could not import tiling module!".

If you do, you should add yourself as being affected by https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdesklets/+bug/569714

Yes I typed that is a shell and got the same as you did.
