What do you mean by this?

Do you mean running kdeinit so you can start KDE programs faster in GNOME? or something else?

If it is the former, this is just like starting all the KDE services and will take up additional memory.

Dave

The easiest way would be to do the following:

1) Goto System - Prefernces - Sessions
2) Move the Startup Programs tab
3) Click Add
4) Type in the command to start kdeinit
5) Click OK
6) Click Close

Now Log-Out and back in. kdeinit should be started everytime you login to gnome.
If you don't like this you could stick in it one of the files called by /etc/X11/Xsession.

Regards,
Dave
