7.04 Wireless Problem

Asked by Alex

I cannot set-up my wireless for my Ubuntu 7.04, and I am possitive that I typed in the key, and I am keyed into the right network. It isn't letting my connect to wireless. I am currently running only Ubuntu, because someone on here gave me a wrong answer and now I can't get it back, and just installed it.

Try to change the key setting from ASCII to Hex, or Hex to ASCII ..
Also try different combinations (128 bit vs 64/40 bit).

What type of wireless modem do you have? And do you know how it is configured? (Wep key, type of key, open or shared authentication, anything you can tell :).

Can you help with this problem?
