Why do the latest version of Ubuntu stop working at times.

I have recently updated to the newest version of Ubunto (9.10 I think ) but since I have at times the program seem to freeze or stop working I have to unplug the machine and restart. This happens about once every two days.

hey sorry your having trouble can you go to your application>acessories>terminal and type or paste
