Hi,

You can configure Ibus preferences (System > Preferences > Ibus).

You can select the entry method. If there are several entries, you can change their level upward (highest priority) or downward. You can also change the activation hot keys (currently CTRL + SPACE) and the combination to change the entry method (currently ALT + Left SHIFT). You can also select to have the language bar displayed permanently (currently it is displayed only when the entry method is active). With this last setting, when you change the working window, the entry method status (active or not) will change along.

So you just need to know that you need to activate the entry method for each window (by default not activated). This is very practical if you type in (Vietnamese) in one text processor window and you want to enter an URL in an other browser window (needs to type without accents).

Hope that helps.
