Video Problem

I have saved videos on my computer, but when i played it, i cant see the video, the screen is color black but i can hear the sound. please help me regarding this problem. thank you.

what kind of system=computer

what kind of distrobution=ubuntu #

what program are you using=i.e. totem movie player

On any new install or upgrade to a new release of Ubuntu (such as 10.04) please run through the Medibuntu worksheet to try to sort all the multimedia issues in one easy session
