totem player no subtitles

hi,
I want to see some .avi with subtitle (.srt) with the totem player. But totem simply can't recognize the subtitle flie. I tried it in the VLC player. There I can see the subtitle.
Can you say me how I can see the subtitle in totem player?

Hi :)

In Totem

Edit - Preferences - General

and tick the box "Automatically load subtitles"
