krishnarajulu,

The 8.10 DEBs available from http://www.skype.com/intl/en/download/skype/linux/choose/ should work on 9.10.

Skype has been removed from the Medibuntu repository, so direct from Skype's site is the preferred method of installation I'd supposse.

Best of luck,
George

Hi :)

I would still recommend working through the Medibuntu worksheet to make sure all the multimedia stuff is there as a foundation for stuff like this
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu

Also it might be worth trying the OpenSource alternatives first, such as Ekiga & Empathy
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Empathy

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
