mobile connected but cnt access internet

i am newbie to linux.
I upgrade fron 8.10 to 9.04 using my mobile as modem.
Nw i cn connect my mobile in mobile broadband but cnt access internet.
Nor firefox or pidgin.
Please help

I suspect you have lost the original profile you had in the Mobile Broadband configuration.

Try creating a new profile, by right clicking on the network icon in your system tray (the panel at the top of your screen), and choosing Edit Connections. In the Mobile Broadband tab you should carefully select a profile using the correct details for your mobile provider. Unplug and replug your mobile. Left-click on the network icon, and when Mobile broadband appears as an option try selecting the newly-created profile instead of the one you were using previously.

If the profiles provided against the known cell networks don't work, then you may have to fill in the details for your new connection manually by contacting your mobile provider.

If you seriously want this problem addressed by the community, you will have to invest more time in asking questions properly. You have failed to provide, for example, any details of the device you are using or the mobile provider.
